Abstract

O trabalho ocupa um papel central na vida das pessoas e é fator relevante na formação da identidade e na inserção social dos indivíduos. Este artigo objetiva relatar uma experiência da intervenção de um profissional da psicologia na integração e nos acompanhamentos funcionais de um novo colaborador em uma empresa privada de Tecnologias de Informação (TI) na região sul do Brasil. Conclui-se que as intervenções de integração e acompanhamento funcional necessitam ser destacadas e não apenas executadas como tarefas rotineiras ou procedimentais, pois são ações voltadas a promoção da saúde do trabalhador, além de incrementar a saúde organizacional, mantendo um ambiente saudável para que possam se sobressair as habilidades profissionais. O nível elevado de bem-estar, de confiança na organização é vivenciado por trabalhadores que relatam satisfação, envolvimento com o trabalho e a manutenção de compromisso afetivo com sua organização de trabalho.
