Construã‡Ãƒo Da Identidade Atravã‰S Da Imprensa: A Perda Da Autenticidade Indã Gena?

Abstract

O objetivo do trabalho é estudar os “indígenas†e como estes indivíduos são vistos na nossa sociedade. Assim, o estudo oferece uma discussão interessante sobre os indígenas e como as imprensas influenciam na forma de como eles são representados. O momento em que eles se encontram é diante uma identidade imposta pelos próprios meios mediáticos. Para tal, levaremos em conta a análise de como é o tratamento dos indígenas no jornal paraguaio ABC Color, a revista brasileira Veja e o jornal brasileiro Folha de São Paulo. Como resultado se quer compreender como a nossa construção da realidade é fortemente influenciada pela mídia. Percebe-se que com o tempo estes grupos nativos vão sofrendo mudanças culturais. Tomaremos como marco teórico os Estudos Culturais que podem contribuir para a compreensão dos acontecimentos. Pretende-se desse modo responder a questão de se há uma perda de autenticidade indígena?
