Las Mujeres, La Salud Y El Cuidado. El Caso De Las Mujeres De La Farmacinha Viva

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende demostrar como la salud siempre ha sido considerada asunto de mujer. La salud implica cuidado, y las mujeres son las que siempre cuidan de las hijas e hijos, de la familia, del marido, de la alimentación, de las plantas y de la tierra. Lo que se traduce en experiencias y sábios conocimientos populares de mujeres sobre hierbas medicinales. Para demostrarlo tomamos el caso de una farmacinha viva, ubicada en el municipio de Canguçu, en el sur de Brasil, espacio donde las mujeres se reúnen a elaborar remédios con plantas medicinales, consiguiendo ser un lugar privilegiado de conservación de una tradición.
