Faixa De Fronteira: 150 Quilã”Metros De Limitaã‡Ã•Es E De Defesa

Abstract

O processo de construção de fronteiras é longo e pode ser melhorado. A pesquisa visa mostrar as limitações existentes nas zonas fronteiriças, porém, de todo modo, enfatiza-se que, embora a limitação territorial exista, em muitos casos não há uma separação tão clara dos limites soberanos de um Estado sobre o outro. Pretende-se ainda demonstrar a construção da faixa de fronteira brasileira e a contribuição da mesma para a manutenção da segurança e soberania nacional. Contudo, fronteiras e segurança nacional em uma zona de tríplice fronteira não são termos definitivos. O multiculturalismo enraizado em muitas tradições permite falar de muitas fronteiras. Neste texto, me dedicarei ao trato das fronteiras geográficas de nosso país, à preocupação com a segurança nacional e abordarei também as discussões atuais acerca da necessidade de reformular a Lei n. 6.634/79 para promover a integração internacional.
