A Estrada Do Colono No Imaginã Rio Da Populaã‡Ãƒo De Capanema

Abstract

A Estrada do colono é uma via que passa dentro do Parque Nacional do Iguaçu ligando Capanema a Serranópolis. Fechada em 1986, foi o motivo de vários conflitos entre os moradores das duas cidades e a Polícia Federal. Sendo sempre alvo dos discursos políticos e ambientalistas, este trabalho pretende diversificar este olhar, buscando compreender a importância que a população do município de Capanema visa a Estrada do Colono, e como a luta pela reabertura desta passou a ser uma peça importante na identidade deste município. Intercalando história oral e documentos escritos, visa-se identificar a importância da memória coletiva dentro de uma comunidade e como esta pode interferir para a identidade da mesma. Capanema é uma cidade pequena e pacata, que tem no discurso dos moradores, a Reabertura da Estrada do Colono uma esperança para o progresso de sua cidade.
