Abstract

Este artigo tem o objetivo de demonstrar a importância da mediação enquanto instrumento teórico-metodológico no processo de atuação do Serviço Social junto às famílias e adolescentes acolhidas na Instituição Casa Santa Luiza de Marillac em Ponta Grossa/PR em 2014. De maneira específica, objetiva a possibilidade de a mediação ser instrumento de administração de conflitos para reestabelecimento do vínculo familiar. A metodologia utilizada foi o método hermenêutico-dialético. Os dados foram coletados através da entrevista semiestruturada e das fichas de atendimento das adolescentes. A análise dos dados obtidos se dá a partir dos sujeitos de pesquisa, que foram cinco adolescentes, os familiares que possuem vínculo, a assistente social da instituição e a Juíza da Vara da Infância e da Juventude. Após análise das falas dos familiares das adolescentes, nota-se que o trabalho do Serviço Social é pertinente com a categoria mediação, pois a intervenção é realizada com sucessivas aproximações de determinada realidade.
