Caracterã Sticas Sociales Y Econã“Micas De Los Estudiantes De Una Escuela En Ingenierã A Y Tecnologã As Avanzadas

Abstract

En este trabajo se presenta un estudio sobre las características socioeconómicas de los estudiantes de la Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria en Ingeniería y Tecnologías Avanzadas del Instituto Politécnico Nacional, con el objeto de que sirva de guía para los profesores tutores de la misma para que apliquen estrategias que mejoren el desempeño académico y social de los estudiantes. De la encuesta aplicada a una muestra del 22% de la población inscrita realizando un análisis de contingencia y pruebas de bondad, se encontró que la comunidad estudiantil convive en mayor proporción solamente con los compañeros de los programas académicos, el 80% de la muestra depende económica de sus padres, quienes en su mayoría tienen ingresos de 1 a 5 salarios mínimos mensuales, entre otros aspectos que proporcionan información clave para la toma de decisiones de acciones tutoriales y académicas en la Unidad estudiada.
