Los Retos De La Universidad Ecuatoriana Ante La Sociedad Del Conocimiento

Abstract

El presente trabajo responde a un análisis respecto a los retos de la Universidad ecuatoriana con relación a la sociedad del conocimiento. Para ello, se considera oportuno hacer hincapié a lo que ha manifestado el Ex Presidente de la República del Ecuador, Osvaldo Hurtado Larrea, en el período 1981-1984: “El Ecuador irá hacia donde su Universidad vaya†. Actualmente, el auge de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, ha creado nuevas condiciones para la aparición de sociedades del conocimiento. Por lo que, la sociedad del conocimiento es considerada como una evolución de la sociedad de la información y la comunicación.
