Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta perspectivas teóricas da Responsabilidade Social Corporativa (RSC) como base para avaliar suas implicações na estratégia organizacional. O estudo compreende as principais correntes de pensamento da RSC e procura integrá-las às abordagens da estratégia porteriana, da visão baseada em recursos - Resource-Based-View (RBV) e da reputação como recurso estratégico. Ao discutir possíveis implicações da RSC nas abordagens estratégicas organizacionais, este estudo utilizou como procedimento metodológico o ensaio teórico, justamente no sentido de propor novos avanços as discussões que integram os campos da RSC e da estratégia. Como resultado, vê-se possível a convergência entre os objetivos empresariais e o atendimento das demandas sociais que contribuam ou mesmo potencializem resultados essenciais aos negócios, por meio de estratégias organizacionais responsáveis. Reformulações na estratégia empresarial podem estar alinhadas às questões éticas, econômicas e de políticas internas da organização.
