Abstract

Este artículo aborda el insider trading bajo una óptica internacional, pero a la vez poliédrica. Analizaremos su estructura y origen, así como los requisitos que ha de reunir dicha conducta o los distintos países para ser considerada delito. Comentamos aquellos factores que son más proclives a la génesis y desarrollo de estas conductas ilegales. Incluimos, además la relación entre insider trading y los mercados financieros. Dedicamos una parte significativa al análisis de la normativa en diferentes países, y también en España; así como las sanciones de esta conducta irregular a lo largo del mundo.
