Gibiteca Comunitã Ria: Espaã‡O Cultural Como Vetor De Desenvolvimento Local

Abstract

O homem sempre foi produto de sua época, portanto cria-se e moldam-se vontades conforme o período em que se vive. Necessitam-se respostas rápidas para as mudanças que ocorrem em um cenário de informações instantâneas acessadas por inúmeros tipos de aparelhos eletrônicos. Entretanto, ainda hoje existem pessoas sem acesso a informação, comunicação ou educação. O propósito central deste trabalho é abordar a importância da biblioteca pública como espaço integrador entre indivíduos, possibilitando o seu desenvolvimento e de seu território. Paralelo a esse objetivo, buscou-se também avaliar o trabalho social da Gibiteca-mais Espaço de Cultura como condutor de desenvolvimento local para a comunidade do Jardim Seminário, em Campo Grande – MS. Para tanto, foram realizadas visitas periódicas na referida biblioteca, além de entrevistas com os mantenedores do projeto e moradores do local.
