Chiquinho Da Vovã“: Uma Anã Lise Historiogrã Fica Sobre O Poeta Francisco Pinto Da Fontoura

Abstract

Este trabalho pretende trazer algumas informações a respeito de Francisco Pinto da Fontoura, o poeta que compôs a letra escolhida como Hino do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, por ocasião dos festejos comemorativos do Centenário da Revolução Farroupilha em 1935. No que se refere a dados biográficos de Francisco, encontramos informações contraditórias quando pesquisávamos o processo de configuração do hino, e isto forneceu o motivo deste trabalho. Sua biografia e seu apelido usado como parte num processo de construção de imagem em 1935, com reflexos nos dias atuais são, portanto, os objetos de estudo que aqui propomos.
