Abstract

La seguridad humana es un concepto emergente que permite comprender vulnerabilidades globales. El concepto ha evolucionado durante las dos últimas décadas, de ser una noción tradicional vinculada a la seguridad nacional centrada en las dimensiones que sustentan la seguridad de la población a través de la inversión en el desarrollo de las personas y las comunidades. Centrándose en las personas hoy en día la aplicación de la idea de Seguridad Humana revisa aspectos ambientales como la equidad del acceso a los espacios públicos como las áreas verdes en parques y jardines. En el presente artículo se revisan aspectos conceptuales de la Seguridad Humana y la segregación socio-espacial, conceptos que permiten a los Autores correlacionar los datos que sugieren una inequidad y elitismo en la distribución de los espacios urbanos destinados al deporte, contemplación, descanso, la recreación y esparcimiento.
