Abstract

La obediencia nocturna de Juan Vicente Melo puede ser entendida como la búsqueda de la satisfacción de un deseo siempre encendido. Búsqueda de la imaginación que se desplaza fenoménicamente por los espacios que habita Beatriz, que es una y todas, y los desdoblamientos que su imagen produce por la permanente ingesta de ron de nuestro personaje. Búsqueda que, como la del arte, nunca termina y en la que nunca somos los mismos. Este trabajo pretende hacer coincidir la propuesta de análisis de la imaginación y el espacio de Gastón Bachelard con La obediencia nocturna y ofrecer nuevas rutas interpretativas de esta obra.
