Banco Mundial: Aprendizagem Para Todos Até 2020 – Breves Notas Sobre Uma Obstinada Estratégia

Abstract

O presente trabalho trata da nova estratégia do Banco Mundial na área de Educação para o decênio 2011-2020. Inicialmente é feita uma revisão sumária dos documentos oficiais daquela instituição para o referido setor, procurando-se salientar os aspectos que caracterizam seus respectivos contextos históricos e políticos. Segue o objeto deste trabalho, a análise de parte do relatório intitulado Learning for All: Investing in People´s Knowledge and Skills to Promote Development - World Bank Group Education Strategy 2020, contemplando alguns aspectos críticos de seu desenvolvimento, tais como seu amplo processo de consultas para a aprovação de sua versão final, com a participação dos interessados em mais de cem países, bem como o processo de construção de legitimidade do Banco Mundial no sentido de impor suas políticas educacionais de cariz neoliberal em toda a periferias capitalista.
