La Educación Ambiental, Los Medios De Comunicación Y El Periodismo De Carlos Fermín

Abstract

En el contexto de unos medios de comunicación masiva de carácter paternalista, catastrofista y poco educativos en torno a lo ambiental en general, y en particular respecto a la educación ambiental en América Latina, se analiza el caso del periodista ambiental Carlos Fermín, que presenta informaciones muy diferentes, en páginas web de corte ambiental. Se categorizan 20 de sus escritos, se determinan sus características principales desde el punto de vista ambiental y se muestra cómo pueden ser usados los contenidos de sus artículos para el desarrollo de la educación ambiental formal.
