Aislamiento Geográfico Relativo Y Vulnerabilidad Social En Los Municipios Colindantes De La Zona Metropolitana De Aguascalientes

Abstract

Se considera que uno de los determinantes de la vulnerabilidad social es el aislamiento geográfico de las comunidades entre sí, lo que se hace evidente al encontrar una relación inversa entre la marginación social y la conectividad vial existente en dichas comunidades. Se presenta un análisis preliminar de este fenómeno estudiando veinticinco municipios de cuatro estados en México: Aguascalientes (11 municipios), Jalisco (5), San Luis Potosí (1) y Zacatecas (8), los cuales conforman una pretendida área de influencia de la Zona Metropolitana de Aguascalientes. Se encontró que la vulnerabilidad produce una autonomía relativa en el desarrollo socioeconómico en el área de estudio.
