La Clase Social Como Factor Determinante De La Tipología De Vivienda Demandada Por El Turista Residencial

Abstract

Una aproximación a los factores de elección de la tipología de vivienda demandada por el turista residencial puede aportar información para los modelos de desarrollo locales. En este sentido, el propósito de este trabajo es analizar la influencia de la clase social en la tipología de vivienda demandada en destino por el turismo residencial. Al tratarse de un producto turístico y duradero realizamos un análisis de las variables incluidas en la literatura en diferentes modelos de comportamiento del consumidor que estudian estos conceptos. Para realizar el análisis utilizamos una muestra poblacional local cuyo sistema de recolección responde al sistema de muestreo aleatorio simple. Los resultados muestran que las variables nivel de estudios, profesión y tipo de casa en origen son significativas por lo que concluimos que la clase social influye en la elección de vivienda entre vivienda unifamiliar y plurifamiliar en destino.
