Abstract

A teoria dos sistemas tem logrado um razoável número de adeptos em todo o mundo. Ao mesmo tempo, porém, não são poucas as críticas que apontam suas limitações. No âmbito da sociologia do direito, um autor merece destaque, ao falarmos nesta linha teórica, em face do esforço que tem empreendido, no sentido de inserir a realidade jurídica em um quadro teórico ligado à análise sistêmica. Assim, faz-se necessária uma revisão bibliográfica de alguns de seus conceitos e de suas influências teóricas. Com isso, problematizando-se algumas noções, pode-se contribuir para o debate instaurado.
