Mudança De Paradigma Epistemológico: Uma Discussão Sob O Ponto De Vista Da Experiência De Halthorne

Abstract

A existência de um paradigma epistemológico dominante no campo de estudo da administração é uma constante há muitos anos, apesar de diversos pontos de vistas contrários, alertando para os perigos da epistemologia positiva no campo das ciências sociais aplicadas, ainda são poucas as teorias organizacionais que se apegam a paradigmas epistemológicos alternativos. O presente ensaio teórico tem por objetivo analisar os estudos de Halthorne sob um ponto de vista epistemológico, demonstrando como uma pesquisa estritamente positivista pode gerar discussões que fomentam uma quebra de paradigma epistemológico desde as raízes dos estudos organizacionais, suscitado a reflexão sobre as possíveis abordagens aos estudos de administração.
