Abstract

O tema de Responsabilidade Social está em voga e cresce à medida que temos uma maior conscientização da sociedade sobre o tema. Neste trabalho apresentaremos uma análise do Instituto Capital Social da Amazônia uma organização do terceiro setor que executa um Projeto de Fomento as Finanças Solidárias analisando o significado da iniciativa como forma de responsabilidade social trabalhando com comunidades carentes e sem acesso a crédito. Realizou-se uma pesquisa documental, entrevista com a coordenação do projeto e acompanhamento das ações com visitas aos bancos comunitários já existentes, identificando os benefícios trazidos para as comunidades assistidas pelo projeto depois da introdução dos conceitos de economia solidária.
