Abstract

El propósito de este artículo no es otro que subrayar la legislación existente en materia de contratación electrónica en la Unión Europea, España y Reino Unido (Inglaterra, Gales, Escocia e Irlanda del Norte) como parte de la fase de pre-traducción. Por tanto, este análisis de Derecho comparado sobre el comercio electrónico se realiza desde la perspectiva del traductor, quien deberá trasladar no sólo términos, sino ordenamientos jurídicos tan dispares como el Civil Law (España) y el Common Law (Reino Unido) a la hora de realizar su trabajo. Por ello, la fase de documentación es imprescindible.
