Abstract

Este artigo pretende um diálogo e, ao mesmo tempo, uma reflexão sobre as relações entre a memória, a identidade e a cultura visual na pós-modernidade, a partir do pensamento de alguns teóricos de estudos culturais como Henri Bergson, Maurice Halbwachs, Paul Ricoeur, Pierre Nora, Joël Candau, Andreas Huyssen, Michel Maffesoli, Nicholas Mirzoeff, entre outros. No texto, também são abordadas questões como as de que maneira a cultura visual contemporânea e o conteúdo midiático, incrementado pelas inovações tecnológicas, podem influenciar na construção da memória social e da identidade cultural.
