Análise Do Programas De Transferência De Renda No Brasil Bahia

Abstract

Os programas de transferência de renda são programas que visam atender as populações mais pobres do país, criando uma rede de proteção social para melhorar a sua qualidade de vida. No Brasil, os mais importantes programas são o Programa Bolsa Família (PBF) e o Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC). O BPC consiste na transferência mensal de um salário mínimo, direcionada às pessoas com 65 anos ou mais e aos portadores de deficiências, cuja renda familiar per capita não ultrapasse um quarto do valor do salário mínimo, e não impõe condicionalidades. Enquanto o PBF é um programa de transferência condicionada de renda cujo objetivo, além de redistribuir renda, é proporcionar às famílias o acesso a direitos sociais básicos. O objetivo principal deste artigo é analisar a trajetória destes programas no estado da Bahia, no período de 2004 a 2010.
