La Animación Sociocultural: Nacimiento Y Evolución

Abstract

Hay que limar las diferencias culturales que separan todavía a las capas de la sociedad, consiguiendo con ello que la una parte importante de la población se interese por las tareas de su propio desarrollo. Es preciso, sin embargo, un clima elemental de libertades y una atmósfera de pensamiento y acción democráticos, para que la animación sociocultural (ASC) pueda desarrollarse en un ambiente que propicie el cambio mediante la reflexión crítica y la acción social transformadora. La ASC se nos ofrece como un poderoso recurso de evolución social, implicando responsablemente en la misma el esfuerzo de todos los ciudadanos. Cabe preguntarse: ¿en qué consiste la animación sociocultural? ¿qué funciones tiene? ¿a quién va dirigida? ¿quién es el encargado/a de llevarla a cabo?
