Abstract

En este trabajo se analizan las dimensiones e indicadores del índice de marginación, a través del cual se observa que entre 1990 a 2010 los estados más marginados no han logrado reducir la brecha que los separa de los de muy baja marginación, por lo consecuente, siguen padeciendo carencias como resultado de la falta de acceso a la educación básica, residencia en viviendas inadecuadas, percepciones salariales mínimas, falta de servicios de salud y equipamientos e infraestructura adecuadas, lo cual obstruye a mejorar la calidad de vida de la población.
