Abstract

La comunicación es útil herramienta para hacer valer nuestras intenciones frente a los demás, respetando a la vez, las opiniones ajenas. Conocer las estrategias que nos permitan su uso adecuado, van a fortalecer nuestra autoestima, relajar posibles tensiones y evitar malos entendidos. Con estas líneas pretendo transmitir unas pequeñas pautas que nos permitan una aproximación a determinadas estrategias comunicativas que nos van a permitir llevar un estilo de vida más asertivo y por tanto más saludable. Para ello comentaré brevemente qué se entiende por comunicación y las barreras u obstáculos cotidianos que perturban la misma, importancia de la escucha activa en el proceso comunicativo (para ser un buen comunicador, es imprescindible escuchar a nuestro interlocutor evitando juicios de valor). Finalmente describo las principales estrategias comunicativas haciendo hincapié en los mensajes yo, como un posible comienzo hacia la asertividad.
