Abstract

La educación médica superior de pre-grado en Cuba sintetiza y materializa estas tendencias en ideas concretas que caracterizan la formación del Médico General Básico. Con el triunfo de la Revolución fueron creadas las condiciones para una verdadera reforma universitaria en la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de la Universidad de La Habana, en el año 1962, cuya trascendencia histórica radica en la proyección humanística y social que dio a la formación del Médico General.
