¿Teoría Del Arte En El Caribe? El Pensamiento Cultural Cubano De La República Neocolonial: Temas Y Variaciones

Abstract

El presente artículo discursa en torno a elementos que a juicio de las autores caracterizan al pensamiento cultural cubano de la República neocolonial, a saber, el empleo de la Larga Duración y el ensayo como herramientas metodológica y de estilo respectivamente. Este estudio se establece a partir del análisis de ensayos de autores como Juan Marinello, Jorge Mañach, Fernando Ortiz, Alejo Carpentier y José Lezama Lima; que sin lugar a dudas son representativos del periodo histórico republicano dentro del panorama literario e intelectual del momento.
