Los Recursos Patrimoniales Como Base Para El Desarrollo Local: Experiencias En La Carrera Lengua Inglesa De La Universidad De Cienfuegos

Abstract

El patrimonio cultural cienfueguero constituye una fuente inagotable de riquezas que debemos preservar y socializar. La originalidad de nuestro legado cultural, hace de nuestra provincia un sitio excepcional, digno de explotar a través del desarrollo y promoción del turismo cultural. El objetivo del trabajo consiste en analizar cómo el patrimonio puede ser potenciado como recurso local para el desarrollo de los territorios, específicamente la cuidad de Cienfuegos en Cuba; además de exponer algunas visiones generales acerca del papel que juega la Universidad en la formación de profesionales y especialistas de la Carrera de Lengua Inglesa, que constituye un pilar importante para el desarrollo cultural y turístico del territorio. Para su desarrollo se consultaron autores como Caravaca, González y Silva; Varillas; Vecino Alegret; Acosta y Duch.
