Abstract

La obra cultural realizada en Cuba desde 1959 hasta hoy, es una de las más altas expresiones del sentido humanista y democrático de la Revolución Cubana. La fundación, tras la Campaña Nacional de Alfabetización, de todo un sistema editorial nacional que ha promovido el libro y la lectura a una escala de masas; de un sistema de enseñanza artística único en el mundo, de altísimo rigor, y con una amplia base popular; de instituciones culturales de base, que se extienden a todos los municipios del país con un decisivo papel en la defensa de la identidad local, en la formación de un público para las distintas manifestaciones de superación y en el enriquecimiento de la vida espiritual de la población; de instituciones nacionales encargadas de la promoción de las distintas manifestaciones de superación son sólo algunos aspectos que enriquece hoy la vida de nuestro pueblo y es reconocida internacionalmente.
