Proyecto De Salvaguarda De Las Tradiciones Franco- Haitianas En La Provincia De Guantánamo

Abstract

El pueblo cubano se conformó históricamente como resultado de un proceso migratorio en el cual predomina la herencia española, africana y antillana. Cada uno de estos grupos poblacionales aportó elementos que condujeron, a través de un largo proceso, a la formación de la cultura nacional. El proyecto que se presenta pretende realizar la salvaguardia de las tradiciones franco-haitianas en la provincia de Guantánamo como principal arista de conservación de las raíces e identidad de un pueblo. El mismo se logrará partiendo de la búsqueda bibliográfica, consulta con los expertos y recogida de la memoria viva como principal fuente portadora del conocimiento de las tradiciones. Entre los resultados que se prevén con el proyecto está capacitar a estudiantes e investigadores en la búsqueda y recogida de información, así como el procesamiento de la misma para ser acopiada en monografías y multimedia que permitan el conocimiento de un grupo poblacional de suma importancia en el devenir histórico de la sociedad guantanamera. En el mismo participarán profesionales del Centro Universitario de Guantánamo, el Archivo Histórico, Centro de Información y Documentación Musical Rafael Inciarte Brioso, Dirección de Cultura, Patrimonio, entre otras.
