Estudio De La Tumba Francesa Pompadour Santa Catalina De Ricci En Guantánamo. Obra Maestra Del Patrimonio Oral E Inmaterial De La Unesco

Abstract

El trabajo, pretende servir como herramienta para estudiosos del folklore guantanamero y la cultura popular y sitúa a la tumba francesa como uno de los eslabones principales del desarrollo cultural en la provincia más oriental de Cuba. En el trabajo se presenta la historia e inmigración de haitianos hacia Cuba así como los principales asentamientos y su aporte a la cultura. Igualmente, se muestran elementos que caracterizan este conjunto “músico danzario” y de manera particular se precisa aspectos de la tumba francesa Pompadour Santa Catalina de Ricci, única de su tipo en la provincia de Guantánamo y su contribución al desarrollo local. Igualmente, se tratan aspectos relacionados con los cantos y algunas características de los mismos.
