Abstract

La violencia es un fenómeno que adquiere dimensiones mundiales. Se extiende y propaga independientemente del nivel o status social. Son múltiples las causas que la originan y son las mujeres y las niñas las principales víctimas. Cuando se vivencian situaciones de violencia intrafamiliar se afecta las relaciones intrafamiliares y sociales de los miembros de la familia. Debe verse la violencia como una de las más crudas realidades que han vivenciado las mujeres históricamente.
