Abstract

El trabajo “El papel del personal de la salud en la contribución a la formación de una ética ambiental en la comunidad”, se desarrolla en el municipio Jesús Menéndez, provincia las Tunas, el cual limita al norte con las aguas del mar caribe, al sur con el municipio Majibacoa, en la provincia las Tunas y con la provincia Holguín, al este con el municipio Gibara, provincia de Holguín y al oeste con el municipio de Puerto Padre. La necesidad de una cultura ambiental en nuestras comunidades, a partir del papel del personal de salud, que permita elevar la calidad de vida de las personas que la habitan, nos motivo a la realización de esta investigación, en la cual nos propusimos como objetivo contribuir a la formación de una ética ambiental en la comunidad, teniendo como eje central al enfermero y demás personal de la salud en el medio comunitario en que actúan. El mismo aborda conceptos tales como ética, educación ambiental, salud, comunidad y comunicación y tiene en cuenta criterios medioambientales importantes, a partir de la visión ética que se propone, así como la misión del personal de enfermería en la educación ambiental en las comunidades. En el trabajo se tuvo en cuenta la observación y la tabulación de datos sobre el estado actual del medio ambiente y la necesidad urgente de intervención.
