Abstract

En el artículo, se ilustran apuntes de una investigación de carácter histórico pedagógico en torno a las características arquitectónicas de las construcciones cubanas y del proceso de formación de sus constructores en la primera mitad del siglo XIX. Tales apuntes permitieron comprender elementos significativos en relación al proceso de formación de las competencias profesionales de estos trabajadores, y que hoy a lo largo de más de siglo y medio de historia siguen manifestando un incuestionable valor pedagógico y profesional.
