Abstract

El Plan Municipal de Paz y Convivencia del Municipio de Ovejas, departamento de Sucre, es un instrumento con el cual se busca fundamentalmente, generar una cultura de paz, dialogo concertado y convivencia entre los distintos grupos sociales existentes en el municipio, en el entendido de que aceptar las diferencias con los demás, es la base de la connivencia entre los seres humanos. Su conformación se hace sobre la base de tres ejes temáticos: El primero Educación y cultura para la convivencia y los derechos humanos, el segundo: Políticas públicas y desarrollo institucional y el tercero : Desarrollo productivo sostenible y sustentable. Sobre estos tres ejes la Escuela de Convivencia y Paz, buscará involucrar a toda la ciudadanía para que mediante una capacitación autodirigida pueda conocer estos tres ámbitos del desarrollo social y con el Cabildo de Paz, implementando del banco de buenas prácticas por la paz y la convivencia, construyendo la casa de Justicia y fomentando los gestores de paz, la sociedad ovejera generará discusiones colectivas socializando los conocimientos adquiridos y proponiendo políticas públicas pertinentes para la búsqueda de la paz local. Su costo es de $ 1.011.830.000.oo pesos corrientes de 2008, de los cuales al municipio le corresponde aportar el 16.4 %( 165.953.000.oo), en los cuatro años (2008-2011) y el resto debe ser gestionado con otras entidades y con la cooperación nacional e internacional. Es un plan concebido a largo plazo y este costo corresponde a los primeros 4 años.
