El Bienestar Subjetivo Desde El Proceso De Longevidad Satisfactoria: Un Reto En La Educación Del Adulto Mayor

Abstract

En la actualidad, ¿qué podemos hacer desde lo psicológico para mejorar la calidad de vida del adulto mayor y por consiguiente su bienestar subjetivo?. Lo más importante no es continuar aumentando la longevidad en el adulto mayor, sino mejorar cualitativamente la salud y el bienestar de estos, lo que constituye una de las tareas prioritarias en nuestro país. Se propone un programa educativo con enfoque personológico para propiciar el bienestar subjetivo en el proceso de longevidad satisfactoria en el adulto mayor perteneciente a la Cátedra Universitaria de la Casa de Abuelos del municipio Amancio. Se utilizaron métodos teóricos, empíricos y estadísticos para la obtención, procesamiento y análisis de la información, permitiendo llegar al diagnóstico inicial y diseñar la propuesta a partir de las vivencias, necesidades y motivaciones de este grupo de edad. La eficacia en la aplicación del programa con enfoque personológico, participativo, creativo y potenciador del desarrollo humano, propiciará un completo estado de bienestar subjetivo en los adultos mayores, quienes apreciarán la magnitud de su existencia al mostrar un alto nivel de satisfacción por la vida.
