Abstract

La Dirección Municipal de Cultura en Majibacoa y la red de instituciones que dirige, propicia espacios para el aprendizaje y estímulo de aptitudes por medio del contacto con las manifestaciones artísticas – literarias, lo cual tributa al desarrollo de valores éticos y estéticos en los pobladores del territorio. Para valorar la incidencia de su labor hacia esa perspectiva, se hizo necesario partir de los Programas de Desarrollo correspondientes a los trienios 2004 – 2006, 2008-2010 y los objetivos del año 2007, así como de las áreas claves Vida Cultural, Creación artística y literaria, Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación, Investigaciones, Desarrollo del potencial humano.
