Relevancia Del Alegato De Autodefensa “La Historia Me Absolverá” Para La Enseñanza De Las Ciencias Penales Y El Derecho Constitucional Cubano

Abstract

Uno de los hechos más trascendentales en la historia del pueblo cubano lo constituye el asalto al Cuartel “Moncada” de Santiago de Cuba durante la tiranía bastistiana en el año 1953. Este hecho liderado por el joven abogado Fidel Castro dio inicio a un movimiento popular de apoyo y en contra de los golpistas que en 1952 suprimieron derechos constitucionales y recrudecieron la opresión del pueblo cubano. Luego de ser aprisionado, Fidel Castro y sus compañeros son enjuiciados en lo que se conoce el juicio más importante de la Historia de Cuba donde expone el alegato posteriormente reconocido por las siguientes generaciones de cubanos como “la historia me absolverá”. Este alegato además de su valor como documento histórico de relevancia política, lo tiene también como medio de enseñanza en el ámbito pedagógico. Es nuestro objetivo ilustrar como dicha relevancia trasciende a la enseñanza e interpretación del Derecho cubano enfatizando las ciencias penales y el Derecho Constitucional.
