Corrupción De Líderes Sindicales En México

Abstract

no hay líderes obreros pobres en México, la mayoría son millonarios o multimillonarios, a diferencia de los verdaderos obreros que con el sudor de su frente se ganan el pan de cada día. Al respecto, destacan dos en particular: Carlos Romero Deschamps, secretario general del Sindicato de Trabajadores Petroleros de la República Mexicana (STPRM), y Leonardo Rodríguez Alcaine, que tomó las riendas de la otrora poderosa Confederación de Trabajadores de México (CTM) a la muerte de Fidel Velázquez acaecida en junio de 1997. Ambos lograron amasar inmensas fortunas al amparo del poder sindical. Como aliados y operadores políticos del partido en el poder, han gozado de múltiples privilegios y, por tanto, de impunidad.
