Estudios De Demografía Histórica: El Reverso De Las “Leyes” Malthusianas

Abstract

En determinada tradición marxista (sea ésta política –Lenin, Stalin, Mao, etc.– o filosófica –Althusser, Goldmann, Della Volpe, etc.) y en su variada recepción en el siglo XX (fenomenología francesa –Merlau-Ponty, Sartre-, estructuralismo, post/estructuralismo –Foucault, Derrida, Guattari- , pos/modernismo –Vattimo, Lyotard, Castoriadis-, Escuela de Frankfurt –Adorno, Habermas), se convirtió en una tópica el mecanicismo del amigo de Engels. Es probable que la estandarización en juego, haya influido para que no se advirtiera que el crítico alemán se opone al autor del Ensayo sobre la población precisamente por su ciego determinismo. Heredamos así la idea de que Marx rechaza a aquél por motivos de deconstrucción ideológica.
