La Evolución De Jerez De La Frontera Desde El Siglo Xvii Al Xix: Economía, Sociedad Y Política

Abstract

El modelo económico que se seguía estaba basado en el mercantilismo, es decir, las relaciones comerciales inherentes desde el s. XV hasta finales del s. XVIII y principios del s. XIX tienen su soporte en la dualidad comparativa entre los dos metales principales: el oro y la plata. La economía de la etapa moderna europea se caracterizó por la intervención de los Estados en el comercio que fluía por su territorio para controlar la productividad de los metales y, de esta forma, incrementar el enriquecimiento.
