Anglofonía En El Mundo Actual: El Ingles Británico Y El Ingles Americano

Abstract

El inglés es ampliamente hablado en todos los continentes incluso llegando a tener gran relevancia en muchos lugares donde no es la lengua oficial. Las expresiones “Spanglish, Franglais, Russilish y Japlish” han sido acuñadas por puristas resentidos para referirse a numerosas expresiones, normalmente utilizadas por la juventud, que surgen como resultado de la mezcla del Inglés con el Español, Francés, Ruso y Japonés respectivamente. La amplísima difusión del inglés hablado coloquialmente está muy asentada en las Islas Británicas, Norteamérica y Australia. Sin embargo, en África, el subcontinente indio y en el sureste de Asia su futuro es incierto e impredecible. Las personas que hablan inglés puedes dividirse en tres grupos: aquellos que los han heredado como lengua materna; aquellos que los han adquirido como un segundo idioma dentro de una sociedad bilingüe y aquellos que lo adquieren por necesidad de uso práctico (razones administrativas, profesionales o educacionales). Una de cada siete personas de la población mundial pertenece a alguno de estos grupos.
