La Evaluación De La Ciencia: Revisión De Sus Indicadores

Abstract

La política y gestión de la ciencia y la tecnología son decisivas en el desarrollo estratégico de los países, y deben dar respuesta a las demandas económicas y sociales. Por lo que la construcción de indicadores que reflejen la convergencia de la actividad de ciencia y tecnología con el desarrollo social se convierte en una necesidad particularmente importante para los países en desarrollo. El presente trabajo ofrece una panorámica de los indicadores para medir la actividad de ciencia y tecnología a nivel internacional. Además de definir el papel de la Cienciometría y la Bibliometría en la evaluación científica; la normalización de las estadísticas de Ciencia y Técnica a nivel global; los sistemas de evaluación de la ciencia y la técnica en Cuba, fionalmente se plantean una serie de consideraciones sobre los retos a los que se enfrenta la evaluación científica.
