Reflexiones En Torno A La Función Del Patrimonio Histórico Y Su Valoración

Abstract

El patrimonio es una construcción social, y que por lo tanto es cambiante de acuerdo con nuevos criterios o intereses en unas nuevas circunstancias El término sugiere (los bienes que poseemos) que estamos ante algo de valor, pero el valor es un concepto relativo sometido a los vaivenes de la percepción y del comportamiento humanos. Por eso ha habido y hay diferentes criterios de valoración del patrimonio histórico. En general su valoración es escasa atendiendo a su valor de cambio, es decir, a la cantidad de dinero que alguien está dispuesto a pagar para poderlo disfrutar. Sin embargo habría otras formas de valorar económicamente los bienes producidos por el hombre y en este caso los bienes del patrimonio, que puede ser un importante recurso económico.
