La Postmodernidad: ¿Recurso O Actitud?

Abstract

La postmodernidad resulta un tema de especial controversia entre los diferentes estudiosos del tema, sobre todo de aquellos que encuentran en ella la continuidad del movimiento de la modernidad, mientras que otros estudiosos lo asocian a una ruptura con esta. Para todos es importante la participación del Hombre como sujeto revolucionador o victima de las teorías monopolistas y enajenantes de las sociedades de consumo, llegando a convertirse en una mercancía más del mercado globalizado del valor comercial. Comprender cuál es el destino de la humanidad en consecuencia con las teorías de la postmodernidad se convierte entonces en un mecanismo de liberación individual y social. Cada resultado lleva en sí su contradicción y su posibilidad de superación. La postmodernidad no se convierte entonces en la vitrina expositiva del hombre del nuevo siglo, sino que en consonancia a sus presupuestos se transforma en la oportunidad de asumir actitudes emancipadoras con un objetivo social e indestructible.
