Abstract

Según las autoras Maite Gorrotxategi Larrea y Isabel Mª de Haro Oriola en su obra “Materiales didácticos para la prevención de la violencia de género Educación Secundaria” publicada por la Consejería de Educación y Ciencia. Junta de Andalucía y que forma parte del Plan de Actuación del Gobierno Andaluz para avanzar en la erradicación de la violencia contra las mujeres “Los malos tratos a la mujer en la pareja y en general la violencia contra las mujeres, es un fenómeno que se ha dado y se da en todas las culturas humanas. Sin embargo sigue siendo un fenómeno invisible, y sobre todo, minimizado. La violencia contra las mujeres o violencia de género, vulnera algunos de los derechos más básicos de todo ser humano, explicitados en la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos:
