El Proyecto Político Salesiano En Comodoro Rivadavia

Abstract

Se aborda la reconstrucción e interpretación histórica, social y política de la educación técnica en torno de los procesos inscriptos en el asentamiento de la Orden Salesiana en la Patagonia, y a su interior en Comodoro Rivadavia, actualmente provincia de Chubut, Argentina. Hacia fines de XIX, la República debía integrar sus territorios a un sistema de dominación de Estado Nacional, obstaculizado por la precariedad de las economías, la extensión territorial, las dificultades de comunicación y transporte y las luchas por la posesión territorial. En este contexto, los Salesianos se expandieron, obteniendo un reconocimiento social que devino en relaciones y asociaciones políticas y económicas, y a su vez brindaron identificaciones a los grupos humanos, fortalecidas durante la Gobernación militar (1.945-1.955), las que permitieron nuevos desarrollos educativos, configuradores de una identidad regional y nacional, enclavada en una economía planificada y localizada.
