Notas Sobre La Historia Reciente De La Asociación Española De Derecho Marítimo A Través De Sus Actividades Jurídicas Y Económicas

Abstract

La Asociación Española de Derecho Marítimo (AEDM) se creó en el año 1949 con el fin de dedicarse al estudio, promoción, actualización y divulgación del Derecho marítimo tanto en el ámbito público como privado y, al mismo tiempo, realizar una continua tarea de armonización y unificación del mismo. Constituye una rama del Comité Marítimo Internacional (CMI) en España . La Asociación desempeña un importante papel en nuestro país, sobre todo, por su estrecha relación con el referido CMI, además de otras organizaciones y organismos internacionales o nacionales. Su ritmo de actividad ha sido siempre notable, destacando su plena participación en las tareas del CMI y en las Conferencias organizadas por éste, así como su dedicación al Derecho marítimo español mediante el impulso de la reforma de nuestra legislación interna y seguimiento atento al proceso de adopción de los últimos Convenios Internacionales.
